The vomiting seems to be a real issue this week. Some of my patients are having a full 48 hours with difficulty keeping things down. One of our little ones ended up in the ER for some hydration. This particular bug has been pretty nasty.
A lethargic child with decreased urine output has me concerned, especially if they are unable to retain even little sips of fluids. If it is during office hours, feel free to call for guidance.
My May classes are now scheduled if you are interested. The safety class ( includes head trauma, burns, choking) is on May 4th
The illness class ( more on vomiting, fevers, rashes, everything) will be on May 18th
