Weekly update March 3rd

I am pleasantly surprised that there doesn't seem to be too much of anything going around today...
Most of the patients have coughs and colds, with the coughs that seem to hang on and on.

All of a this afternoon the phone calls picked up in a big way and I started hearing about lots of patients with high fevers.
This is a new trend, so I don't know how long they are lasting.
I will keep you in the loop if they turn into anything interesting.

Due to the recent news of Measles, my weekly post addressed that issue.
Here is the link for those of you who do not get my weekly emails directly.

For any of you who know someone who suffers from Crohns or Colitis.
The info below might be of interest.

There was enthusiastic response to the upcoming meet-up for those living with Crohn's & Colitis (and for parents of those living with these autoimmune diseases), for this Saturday. As a reminder, we'll have Julie Michelle (an acclaimed photographer of SF) who will be providing free headshots to those interested -- great to use for professional and personal use.
At the event, everyone will get a sneak peak into the social network MyCrohnsandColitisTeam.com. We'll have paper prototypes to share for feedback.
Saturday, March 8th
10:30AM to Noon
Seccession Art & Design, 3361 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94110
RSVP directly to mary@myhealthteams.com. For those who can't attend, if you cannot make either day, no worries, still email mary@myhealthteams.com, and we'll still be in touch as MyCrohnsandColitisTeam progresses.

Stay well,.
